No matter how many problems you may have, if you will begin to fall on your knees or bow your face to the ground on a regular basis in worship and adoration of God, I can promise you that He will bring you through to a place of victory.

We don't just want to worship God when something wonderful has happened, and we are excited and feel like worshiping. These are good times to worship, but we also especially need to worship in hard times.

The Lord once told me that the reason most people stay desperate much of the time is because that is the only time they will seek Him. He said to me, "Joyce, if you will seek Me as if you're desperate all the time, you won't have as many desperate times in your life."The Israelites spent many years in the wilderness where God was trying to teach them to do things right. As I already mentioned, they spent forty years trying to make an eleven-day journey. They repeatedly sought God when they were desperate and forgot all about Him when times were good. God would allow their enemies to be in control because they were not seeking Him, and then they would seek Him again. Things were good when they sought God and bad when they didn't. In Deuteronomy 8:2 we read, And you shall [earnestly] remember all the way which the Lord your God led you these forty years in the wilderness, to humble you and to prove you, to know what was in your [mind and] heart, whether you would keep His commandments or not.
